Miss Hong Kong Beauty Pageant is one of the biggest events of Hong Kong that is held every year. Hong Kong television station named Television Broadcasts organizes this beauty pageant. Wai Yin Association is the organizer for all official contestants. Official contestants mean those who qualify for the semi-final round.
For participating in Miss Hong Kong Beauty Contest, the contestants must possess a valid identity card of Hong Kong or must be a citizen of Hong Kong. The event is divided into two rounds: preliminary and final. 12 semi-finalists are selected from the preliminary round. In the final round, the number gets down to 5. Other than the first prize holder, first runner-up and second runner-up prizes, a number of consolation prizes are also awarded to the participants.

2007 Miss Hong Kong
The 2007 Miss Hong Kong took place on 21st of July, 2007 in Hong Kong Coliseum. Kayi Cheung came out as the winner of the contest. She will represent Hong Kong in the 2007 Miss World contest. Grace Wong, the first runner-up, represented Hong Kong in the 2007 Miss International contest held in Tokyo.
