HK Magazine falls under the Asia City Living Magazines published by the Asia City Publishing Group. The Asia City Publishing Group is Hong Kong's front running media company. This media group was the first to start lifestyle magazines with articles based on contemporary lifestyle and also offer marketing solutions. The Asia City Publishing Group introduced the concept of free- distribution publications and presented Asia its first city living magazines.
Since its inception in the year 1989, the media group has traveled a long way. About 150 staff was employed by this media group and has its office stationed in major metropolises like Singapore, Kuala Lampur, Shanghai, Bangkok and also Hong Kong.
