The Australian International School Hong Kong is a premier educational institution in Hong Kong SAR. The school is co-educational and educates its pupils until Year 12. The school is popularly known as AISHK.
The Australian International School Hong Kong was established in 1995. The initial period saw the school teaching students until Grade 6. The school was slowly extended and finally achieved Year 12 educational class status in 2001. Pupils enjoy the facility of school leaving diplomas granted by any one of the two New South Wales Board of Studies - Higher School Certificate or International Baccalaureate IB Diploma program. The Australian International School of Hong Kong is housed in a modern school building at Kowloon Tong. The school building is 9 stories high. A well stocked library is present. Also, a 25 meter swimming pool is available on the 9th floor. Having a sports field with artificial turf, the school boasts of a range of infrastructural facilities.
The Australian International School Hong Kong starts its educational year from the month of February. The year ends in the middle of December. There are term breaks in October, April and July.
