apm, Hong Kong


The apm, Hong Kong is one of the most happening shopping malls of the city. This mall is a new addition to the shopping scenario of Hong Kong. It was opened on 17th July, 2005. The mall is located in the Millennium City 5. One can easily reach the place as the Kwun Tong MTR Station is closely located to it.

The credit of building this shopping center goes to Sun Hung Kai Properties. It was inaugurated by Vice Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok of Sun Hung Kai Properties and Chairwoman Selina Chow of Hong Kong Tourism Board.

The apm, Hong Kong has got 7 stories with full of garment stores, restaurants and a cinema hall on the top floor named 'Palace apm'.This cinema hall plays 6 different movies in its 6 halls.
During the Germany World Cup event of 2006, the giant LED TV located in the atrium broadcast the games.

The apm of Hong Kong is open till late night and is a major attraction of the city. There are lockers as well as children sized toilets in the mall for the convenience of the visitors. One will get all trendy items here. It is one of the biggest hotspot zones of Kowloon East. There are about 170 shops spread across 630,000 square foot complex. Big brands like GreenBox Playground Karaoke, cookedDeli by city'super, JUSCO Supermarket, Muji have their outlets here. The restaurants are open till 2 am.

Hong Kong shopping center apm have got its name from am and pm. The footfall everyday is very high, a major portion being the 'generation next'.
