This is soaked in salt water and the protein part of the mixture is released. It is further fermented and the thick syrup that is formed is bottled. Three to six months of time are required for fermentation.
The frozen food department of Amoy Food, Hong Kong also takes care that international quality is ensured in all the food products. The foods are stored at a temperature of -40ºC in a freezer. Maintaining hygiene and using minimum of preservatives, is the key factor that is involved in the preservation of frozen food items.
