The Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, Santiago, is one of the foremost art museums of the Santiago city. There is a research library in Santiago Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino that focuses on Columbian archeology, art, pre-history of America and anthropology. There are about 500 periodical titles, 6000 volumes and 1900 offprints at the Museum library. The library of Santiago Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino at Santiago can be accessed only by the
library members. The library remains open from Monday to Friday from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

There is a restoration and conservation laboratory at the museum of Santiago. The laboratory is accountable for protection, registry and reinstatement of the collections of the museum.

The Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino is located in the middle of the business district of Santiago. It is in the corner of Compania and Bandera streets which is a block away from Plaza de Armas Square. Students and Children can enter the museum for free and the general public has to pay an entry fee.

There is an audiovisual archive at the museum library of Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino in Santiago, which was created in the year 1989. It includes an Indigenous Music Archive and an Ethnographic Video Archive. A prior 1-month appointment is needed for any groups from schools that are interested in visiting the museum. Free guided tours are arranged by museum officials.
