The three types of taxis of Santiago differ in color. The normal taxis are black colored with yellow roofs. These operate frequently and are easily accessible from all parts of the city. The colectivos run on fixed routes and have a seating capacity of five persons.
However, colectivos are shared taxis and are expensive.
