Each Santiago College operates under the direct affiliation of the four universities of the country. Santiago College is the most prestigious among the many higher education institutes of the city.

Santiago College

Santiago College is one of the oldest and most important colleges of the city. Established in 1880, this college boasts of illustrious alumni including sports and cultural experts. Founded by the Methodist priests, the college covers a campus of 3.3 hectares. Although
following a missionary curriculum, the college has incorporated North American and European ideas as a part of its educational system. It is a private co-educational college and non-sectarian in profile. The college has been accredited by the following:

  • Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
Santiago College also has a division of school that imparts education from the nursery levels. Students are admitted to the Nursery section from the age of 4 and applications are received before the 31st of December every year for the following academic year.
