Passengers from domestic destinations can easily arrive to Santiago by train. There is no provision for international travelers to visit Santiago by train. The train services in Chile are run by Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado or EFE.
Train connections from Santiago traverse a rather limited route. The trains to Santiago are available from major Chilean cities. Secondary urban settlements

and towns are not covered by the rail network.There are regular train services to Santiago from Concepcion, Temuco, Chillan, Curico and Talca.
Santiago possesses two railway terminals, namely the Estacion Central and Avenida Bernardo O'Higgins. Trains are comparatively modern and offer a comfortable journey. Most long distance trains of Santiago take less than 12 hours to reach the desired destinations.
