The site attracts a large number of tourists throughout the year. The building has three blocks among which the Centre block is bounded by beautiful lawns.

It has hosted a number of important events including birthday of Queen Victoria, golden and silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth's reign, rising of Canada's flag and others.
