In this Ottawa International Children's Festival kids get to see a number of good theatrical performances which are informative as well as entertaining. Various children films are also shown at the festival. Some of the most important plays that are being held in theaters include A Christmas Carol, Les Parfaits Inconnus, The Nightingale, Circus Incognitus and others. Most of the plays run for sixty to seventy minutes.
It is a five day event featuring outstanding performances of local and international artists. At this festival, programs are organized for children to enhance their knowledge on art, dance and music. Through the Ottawa International Children's Festival organizers try to make art an integral part of kid's education. The programs are created for children aged between four and fifteen. Over the years, this festival has gained immense popularity all over Canada.
