enrichment of biodiversity, management of the environment, water management, etc. This will make Greenbelt even more important and will establish it as a Natural Resource Center.

The work of agriculture and farming is mainly carried out in the western regions of Greenbelt that comprises of natural sewage channels, eris and village areas. This area has been reserved for the development of agriculture. Presently these lands are not much used. These lands will be used later to set up sample farms where the right kind of crops will be raised.

For forest and regeneration purpose, the eastern part of Greenbelt has been chosen. Intense plantation has been carried out in the area to prevent it from cyclone-strong winds. These areas cover about 544 Ha of land. These lands will be used for the purpose of land renewal, bio-diversified growth, re-establishment of the original forest vegetation and other.
