The Ottawa Bluesfest of 2007 took place in LeBreton Flats Park. Five new stages were made in and around the Canadian War Museum. The music festival featured popular rock bands, like the White Stripes and Steve Miller Band. The great singers included Manu Chao, Kanye West, Bob Dylan and many more. The event was a big hit and the Solid Gold Dance party stole the show away.
Apparently, the Ottawa Bluesfest music festival focused on blues. But in the recent years, the mainstream rock and pop music have become an integral part of the event. The main performers of the Ottawa Bluesfest include Great Big Sea, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Sam Roberts, Bonnie Raitt, Blue Rodeo and others.
