The Euxinograd Opera Festival is a well known opera event all across the world, first held in Bulgaria. The main purpose of this opera event is to promote opera in Bulgaria on an international stage. the historical background of the Chateau Evxinograd, built in the year 1882 by King Ferdinand. The magnificent palace houses the famous Opera Festival. There are more than just performances in the opera festival. There is a 90 minute interval in the festival show, when the guests are invited to have a picnic style al fresco dinner in the lush green lawns surrounded by lovely gardens. The entire place carries lovely Gothic architecture with castles all around.
This opera festival in Varna was founded by a singer Katherine Haataja in 2006 with the intention of promoting young opera singers and artists of Bulgaria to the international audience. Operosa is a non-profit making organization. Mainly charity feeds the Operosa Foundation in Varna. The Euxinograd Opera Festival, Varna has been an unique experience to the visitors.
