Drazki Torpedo Boat, Varna is a museum ship, which was originally a torpedo boat of the Bulgarian Navy. The boat existed from the beginning of the 20th century and still continues to amaze tourists with its uniqueness and historical significance. Origin of Drazki Torpedo Boat
The Drazki Torpedo Boat, like the other five torpedo boat of Bulgarian Navy was built in Chalon-sur-Saone by the French Schneider et Cie. The building of the Drazki Torpedo Boat, Varna was initiated in France, but was completed in Varna. Drazki, as it was named started working since 1907. Drazki Torpedo Boat was used in several major wars like the Balkan Wars, World War and World War II.
After 50 years of remarkable service Drazki was transformed into a museum in 1957. The ship is preserved at Naval Museum in Varna. Tourists visiting Bulgaria consider Drazki Torpedo Boat Museum as one of the must visit destinations in Varna.
