Evangelical Pentecostal Church is the Protestant Church while the rest are Catholic Varna Churches. Cathedral of Varna, which is known as the Cathedral of the Holy Mother is the most famous among the churches in Varna. The St. Nikolai Church was built in the year of 1865. As a matter of fact it is the only sea temple in Bulgaria.
The St. Atanasil Church as well as the Holly Parasceva Petka Church is located in the proper center of Varna town, near the Roman Spa. The building of the Holly Petka was built in the year of 1906. The Armenian Orthdox Church “Saint Sarcis” is also situated at the city center.
