Patio do Colegio, Sao Paulo is located to the north of Praca de Se in the country of Brazil. The Sao Paulo Patio do Colegio is considered to be the center and core of the city of Sao Paulo. The Patio do Colegio, Sao Paulo is regarded as the cultural center of the country. Originally, there was only a Jesuit school at the Patio do Colegio, Sao Paulo, which was built with the help of Native American inhabitants of Guainas. However now, there is a Church and the Achieta Museum near the Jesuit school at the Patio do Colegio in Sao Paulo.

The College of the Society of Jesus at the Patio do Colegio Sao Paulo was founded by the efforts of Jose de Anchieta and Manuel de Nobrega. This place was used for the purpose of studying as well as for staying by the Jesuit students of the country.
The celebration of the first mass in the settlement took place on the 25th of January, in the year 1554. The Patio de Colegio is presently usurped by the Casa Anchieta, a Historical Museum and the Capela de Anchieta. The only remaining sections of the Patio do Colegio; Sao Paulo is a clay wall and some doors.
