Mayors of Sao Paulo


Mayors of Sao Paulo are the head of state of Sao Paulo and are also imminent figures in the politics of the city. There are several sub prefectures in the city of Sao Paulo, which are governed by a mayor and the city council. Due to the flourishing economy of the Sao Paulo and its vast population, Sao Paulo plays a major role in the politics of Brazil. Antonio da Silva Prado was among the first mayors of Sao Paulo. He was in office from the year 1899 to 1911. About 60 people have been elected to the post of
