Sao Paulo Economy is dependent on industries as well as on agriculture. Sao Paulo in Brazil is known to be the biggest commercial and industrial area of the country. The energy department is another major contributor to the Sao Paulo economy. The city is the largest producer of energy in Brazil. There are four petroleum refineries in Sao Paulo. An approximate of 90% of energy produced in the country is generated from the hydroelectric plants in Sao Paulo.
