Gomel State Medical University in Belarus has 31 departments, a highly equipped research laboratory and 18 large clinics furnished with all types of modern equipments. It uses one of the most advanced medical technologies for diagnosing and treating an ailment. Modern and advanced equipments are used to cure the diseases. The departments of immunology, endocrinology, cardiologic, hematology, ophthalmologic, oncologic are among the best in the region.
The University offers various medical courses to nearly 2000 students who are studying at different departments. It is equipped with a library that has a rich in volume of books, three reading halls for the convenience of the students.
