Gomel climate experiences warm summers and mild winters. In short Gomel climate is temperate continental. Gomel is an oblast region and is located in the south eastern part of Belarus. The other neighboring countries are Bryansk, Kiev, and the oblast regions of Ukraine mainly Zhitomir and Chernigov.
