This exquisite building was constructed during the late 1970's. The tower was publicly opened in the year 1981 in August, although the 52 shops inside the tower were introduced earlier in the year 1972. The tower has been supported with 56 strong cables. These cables are so long that the relative length from one strand to the other cannot be figured out.

The water tank of Sydney Tower has a capacity of 162,000 liters of water storage. Besides, some of the other aspects of the building include the innumerable sprinklers, the main damping station of the tower and the fire protection measures inside the tower that cost around a million dollars.
