Sydney Central Business District

Sydney Central Business District is the capital of New South Wales. In the past, Europeans settled here for the first time. George Street is said to be the most important road of this business district. The other remarkable streets running across the place are Macquarie and Pitt Streets. On the Pitt Street there are Sydney Tower and the Pitt Street Mall. Macquarie Street, on the other hand, houses the legally significant buildings of the city. Here the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the State Parliament House and numerous medical institutions are situated.
