The Nine Network, Sydney is the first among all television channels in Australia to go on air. The Nine Network is also known by the name of Channel Nine. It was officially launched on the sixteenth of September 1956 and is owed by the PBL Media. The headquarters of the Nine Network is based in Willouhboy, around the northern outskirts of Sydney. It is a free of cost commercial channel. Over the fifty years of service that it has provided, it has been successful in gaining the maximum audience rating, the only possible competitor being the Seven Network. Rightfully, it has chosen its slogan as Still the One.

The Melbourne and Sydney based properties of the Nine Network has been up for sale and this just a step for upgrading the digital broadcast system. Nine leased premises would be chosen in Sydney and Melbourne and the responsibility of the entire transaction is to be shouldered by Colliers International. The new positioning will help in the better disposal of systems and services to the audience.
