2WS, Sydney


2WS, Sydney is among the leading radio channels of Sydney. This channel operates on 101.7 MHz frequency but has two other repeaters in the suburbs of Sydney. This radio network is also known by the name of WSFM. In the Macarthur region, it is transmitted at a frequency of 88.3 MHz and at 99.1MHz in the Hawkesbury or Richmond region.

The 2WS like some other FM channels was previously played on AM band. At the time when the 2WS was played from AM band, it was transmitted on 1224 KHz. This frequency has now been granted to 2RPH.
This radio channel is among the twelve radio stations owned by the Australian Radio Network. The AM band frequency has now been allotted 2RPH, a print handicapped radio station.
