Sydney Water

Sydney water, a corporation owned by the state as well as the New South Wales Government aims at providing excellent service to its customers by distributing drinking water, recycled water, storm water services and wastewater services. The Sydney Catchment Authority assists Sydney water by storing and managing drinking water before it is distributed to a population of almost 4 million people. There is more than 3000 staff working with Sydney water that is efficient in delivering good water quality and wastewater services to the people.

The three main objectives of Sydney water are to protect the health of the public, environment protection and make the business successful. Sydney Water aims at treating all people with respect. They are engaged in looking after the needs of the public and ensuring their well-being, health and safety. Sydney water tries to ensure a safe and secured future by following the principles of honesty and earning the trust of the government and the community.

During the construction a building, factory, house, industry or plumbing, water service is a must. While developing the planning of such construction, the installation of any new water system needs the approval of Sydney water. Construction of building close to the Sydney water assets is not allowed.
