One of the oldest hospitals in Australia is the Liverpool Hospital, Sydney. It is also known as Liverpool Repatriation General Hospital. Operating since the late 18th century, the hospital has been imparting quality education in medical science since 1989 under the New South Wales (NSW) University.
Liverpool Hospital of Sydney is one of the most important hospitals to operate under South Western Sydney Area Health Service (SWAHS). It is also the first clinical school in Australia to be managed by SWAHS. The clinical school is now counted amongst the top four best medical schools under the NSW University for pursuing the final three academic years in medical science.
