University of New South Wales Sydney

In 1949, by an Act of Parliament of New South Wales, the University of New South Wales (UNSW) was incorporated. This is one of the reputed universities of Sydney. This university takes a leading role in catering education in Sydney. The motto of the university is “Knowledge by Hand and Mind".

The main campus of University of New South Wales is located in Kensington in a 38-hectare site. The university is ranked 41 in World University Rankings according to a report published in October 2006 by United Kingdom’s Times Higher Education Supplement. University of New South Wales is one of the institutes where teaching and research programs are carried on simultaneously.
