Rockpool Restaurant Sydney

The Rockpool Restaurant, Sydney is one of the fine restaurants in the city and is located at 107 George Street, Sydney. Rockpool Restaurant, Sydney was the first restaurant, which opened its branch in the Rocks area and is owned by Neil Perry and Trish Richards. The Rockpool Restaurant was previously known as Rock Push Restaurant.

The Rockpool Restaurant in Sydney was opened in the year 1989 and was refurbished in the year 2002. The interior of the restaurant is designed by D4 Designs of Sydney. Initially there was an Oyster Bay on the upstairs and the restaurant occupied the ground floor; but thereafter the restaurant was expanded on to the second floor. The restaurant was started as a high-quality dining restaurant with an Asian influence and chiefly served seafood dishes.The style of cooking has however not undergone any substantial change apart from the fact that more new delicacies have been added in the menu.
There is a special menu called the Tasting Menu
at the Rockpool Restaurant, Sydney that offers a whole variety of delicacies and desserts.

This special menu is priced at $175 and wine is also available at the cost of $65.00 or $125.00 per person. Another special Five Course Menu is available at the cost of $150.00 per person and one can make the required changes in menu if needed.

The Rockpool Restaurant, Sydney has won many awards and recognitions from various international magazines and in 2006 was awarded the "Restaurant of the Year" Award by Australian Gourmet Pages.
