The Royal National Capital Agricultural Society has promoted this Canberra agricultural show ever since 80 years. The Royal Canberra Show has been staged annually in Canberra since 1927. The show had one and only theme of agriculture earlier but with the advancement of technologies, many more shows have been incorporated in the Royal show.
All the requirements and attractions of a new fare is included among the attractions of the Royal Canberra Show. Many competitions for different age groups and educational programmes are also conducted. In this show, every year thousands of urban people come and even participate. Thus this show is considered to be a mixed bag of Australian Culture, where the city meets the country and the country meets city as well.
With each year, the significance of this show have increased. More and more people come with their livestock and other agricultural goods and participate in various competitions. The show plays a very important role attracting people from all over the globe into Canberra for the event. The Royal Canberra Show is considered the nation's largest of all events.
