Mass Transit: Buenos Aires has an extensive subway network, which is also the most popular means of transport for the locals. There are five subway lines, which are connected to the railway and bus stations. The subways run from Monday to Saturday from early morning to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The public buses, known as "colectivo," are also a popular means of transport in Buenos Aires. There are more than 180 lines on which these public buses operate. Several rail lines run from Buenos Aires city to other cities nearby.

Airports: Buenos Aires has one international airport, the Ministro Pistarini International Airport, also known as Ezeiza International Airport, which is located in the suburb of Ezeiza. This airport is an important hub of Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral. Another airport, the Jorge Newbery Airport, is located within the city proper and serves only domestic traffic.

Taxis: There are 32,000 taxis running on the roads of Buenos Aires. The taxi fare consists of an initial charge plus extra for the distance traveled. The taxis are painted yellow on the roof and black on the rest of the body. The starting charge for the meter is $1.12 and $0.14 is added every 200 meters. Besides these taxis, there are many radio taxi companies in Buenos Aires. Some of the private taxi operators of Buenos Aires are Sacriworld S.A., Acta, and Brumalar S.A.

Online Booking of Flights: Many airlines offer online booking of flights to and from many cities of the world. You too can book flights to and from Buenos Aires online from the comfort of your house or hotel. Some of the airlines, which fly to Buenos Aires, are Air Canada, Air France, Air Madrid, Alitalia, American Airlines, British Airways, Continental Airlines, Lufthansa, Malaysian Airlines, and Mexicana Airlines.
