Tourist Attractions: Some of the attractions of Buenos Aires, which should be a must-see on your itinerary on your trip there, are Caminito, Cancha de Boca, and House of Culture. Besides these,
there are many other fascinating and beautiful monuments in Buenos Aires that you should definitely visit. The Obelisk, which is a famous monument of Buenos Aires, was built in May 1936 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the foundation of Buenos Aires. It is constructed at the site where the Argentinean flag was flown for the very first time. This towering structure is more than 67 meters high and 49 square meters wide. There is only one entrance to this magnificent structure and there are four windows at the peak of the tower, which can only be reached after climbing a 206-step staircase.

Museums: There are many fascinating museums in Buenos Aires - some giving a glimpse into the local history and culture, some contemporary art, some science and technology, and lots more. A few of the local history museums of Buenos Aires are Cabildo de Lujan, Centro Cultural Recoleta, and Museo Historio Nationale. The Centro Cultural Recoleta was built in the year 1716 by the Franciscan Recoleto monks. In 1978, it was converted into a museum, which displays various objets d'arts giving a glimpse into the culture and history of Buenos Aires. There is a cafe and a gift shop, and a bookstore also on the premises.


Amusement Parks: If the kids are clamoring for some kiddie enjoyment, then you can take them out for a day full of thrills and enjoyment at some amusement park of Buenos Aires. The Parque de la Costa is the largest amusement park in the entire South America. It is located at a distance of 45 minutes from Buenos Aires. The park teems with entertainment opportunities, including roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, paddle wheel boat tours, the "Legends of Jurupira" adventure ride, laser and dance shows, and lots more. Some other thrilling amusement parks of Buenos Aires are Parque de la Ciudad, Playcenter at Alto Palermo Shopping, Neverland at Abasto Shopping.

Beaches: Several marvelous Atlantic Ocean beaches are located in the province of Buenos Aires. Several cities in the province of Buenos Aires are located on the seaside. Some of the seaside cities, which have large virgin beaches, are San Clemente del Tuyu, Santa Teresita, and Mar de Ajo. Mar del Plata combines natural serenity and beauty with modern facilities and services. These beaches are the ideal place to take out your family and kids and to spend a few hours lazing in the Sun. Some resorts located in the southern side are Necochea, Orense, Claromeco, and Monte Hermoso. All these beaches afford the visitor magnificent views of the sunrise and sunset by the seaside. The beaches in all these cities are located at a short duration's drive from Buenos Aires.

Outdoor Activities: Horse riding is a popular sport of Argentina. There are plenty of places where you can ride or take horse riding lessons in Buenos Aires. Argentina is also a prime destination for polo. During the spring in Buenos Aires, that is the month of November, the polo fever is at a peak. The polo ground, Campo de Polo, is a famous venue in which polo matches are held. It has a seating capacity of 45,000 spectators. Football is, of course, a national passion in Argentina. There are many famous football teams in Buenos Aires, but the most sought after of them all is Club Atletico Boca Juniors, which was formed in the year 1905. This is the same team, which launched Diego Maradona, one of the greatest football players of all times, who won a couple of World Cups for Argentina.
