The Bagh-e Babur Park is a tourist park with several beautiful gardens. Located in Kabul, Afghanistan, this park has become one of the most popular tourist attractions of the country. The walls of the Bagh-e Babur Park were rebuilt by the experts of the German Archaeological Institute. The walls were damaged due to the civil war of 1992- 1996.
The Bagh-e Babur Park enjoys an advantageous position as it is located in the Chehlstoon region of Kabul. The park offers an excellent view of the western and southern regions of Kabul. The uniqueness of the park lies in the fact that it houses the tomb of Babur,

the first Mughal emperor. The other Mughal gardens were highly inspired by the design of Bagh-e Babur Park of Kabul. It was heard that the second burial of the emperor Babur was done here to fulfill his wishes.
The Bagh-e Babur Park was founded by the emperor himself between 1504 and 1525. It was one of the ten beautiful parks built by him before he achieved victory over India. The successors of Mughal dynasty came here to pay their homage to the late Emperor Babur.
After the decline of the empire it was redesigned in the late 19th century.
