Like almost all other countries, a China Business Visa is required for carrying on any kind of business in the Chinese territory. Visas in China are issued according to the purpose of visit in the country. Thus students are provided with a student Visa, the tourists get Tourist visas, similarly those traveling for business purpose are given Business Visa or the “F” Visa. This is mainly given to those who visit China for Investigation purpose, giving lectures, Scientific-technological exchange etc.
Those planning a business trip to China and hence applying for a China Business Visa should produce certain documents which authenticate their identity and clarify their purpose for visit. These documents include:
- A Passport with a validity of at least 6 months
- An electronic form, downloaded from the computer. Completed and signed
- One Passport sized photographs
- An invitation letter from a Chinese Company
- A Business letter from your own Company
There are different kind of entries that can be availed while applying for aChina Business Visa.
- Single Entry: As the name suggests, this Visa allows an individual to enter China ones with this Visa
- Double Entry: This Visa permits you to enter China at the most twice
- Multiple Entry: With this Visa one Gets the privilege of visiting China as many times one needs within either 6 or 12months.
There is no specified or defined time within which a visa is granted so it is always advisable to apply with some time in hand. However, even if one provides all the valid documents he cannot claim a Visa as it is completely at the discretion of the consulate and they decide on whom to and whom not to grant a Visa.
