There are numerous tourist attractions in Pucon. The Villarica National Park and the Huerquehue National Park are some of the major tourist spots. The Villarica National Park is rich in wildlife and animals like Cougars, Chilla, Culpeo foxes, Harris's Hawks, and the rare Monitos del Monte can be spotted. The main lakes in Pucon are the Villarica, Caburgua and Tinquilco. The Caburga Lake is located to the east of the Huerquehue National Park and is 23 kms from the main city of Pucon. The main river flowing through this region is the Trancura River. The river inundates the southeastern portion of the Villarica National Park. This river is ideal for rafting.
