MapXL attends Frankfurt Book Fair 2007
Map XL marked its presence in the Frankfurt Book Fair from Oct 15 - Oct 19, 07. Our wide range of products and services such as MOI CD, MOW CD, Publishing Kits, Picture India Series, Location Locators, etc. were widely appreciated by several notable names across the industry. Our initiative of distributing complimentary maps of India had a strong impact on the visitors and helped us in consolidating our brand. We also had the opportunity to initiate successful corporate talks with the leading names in the industry.

Our repertoire of maps in Mapsofworld.com expanded tremendously during this year to include thematic maps along with travel / utility maps and maps of geographical regions.
Infrastructural Developments
Compare Knowledge Centre, Kolkata (CKCK) and Compare Development Centre, Gurgaon (CDCG) are the two milestones in the direction of infrastructural development and manpower addition. While research and content creation for the sites are done mainly at Kolkata, programming, content updation and designing is done at Gurgaon. This year also witnessed the expansion in the cartography department at MapXL/Compare headquarters, Delhi. Specialized writers for travel, economy, GIS and business constitute the Content Department at CKCK.
Mapsofworld.com - One of the Biggest Sites
Touching the 50,000 pages mark in the year 2007, Mapsofworld has emerged as one of the biggest sites for maps and information on the internet. The look and feel of maps in the site has also undergone major revisons. All maps in mapsofworld.com are now available in color.
December 2006, Updates
Mapsofworld adds another merit to its list of achievements by bagging a board membership in IMTA- The International Map Trade Association. IMTA is the foremost worldwide organization of the mapping, geospatial and geographic information industry.
Mapsofworld also participated in the IMTA Global Conference and Trade Show in Singapore and initiated successful talks with several notable names across the industry.
