The other golf course is situated at Sliven. It is about 90 km away from the Black Sea. This course was opened in 2004.
Numerous other golf courses are proposed due to growing foreign interest in Bulgaria. One of the new courses will be situated at Razgrad, nearly 90 km from the Black Sea. Some of the new golf courses are yet to open at Primorsko and Kavarna. Ski town of Bansko is also going o have a golf course. People can expect a large golf complex between Borovets and Kostenets and another golf complex near Bansko.
Three famous golfers such as Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Ian Usnam are engaged in the designing of 5 golf courses.
