Bulgarian wines are very popular. Bulgarian wines include both red and white wines like Sauvignon Blanc, Slavjantzi, Riesling, Suhindol, etc.

Eastern Region, Southern Region, Northern Region, South Western Region and Sub Balkan Region are the wine producing regions of Bulgaria.

In the eastern region of Bulgaria maximum wines are produced from white grapes. Traminer, Riesling, etc, are the wines of this region.

The most popular wine, which is produced in the sub Balkan region of Bulgaria is Slavjantzi. White wines are much produced in this region in comparison to red wine. The wines produced in this region include Sunglure Misket, Sunglare Eau de Vie, etc.

Superb red wine is produced in the southern region of Bulgaria. Excellent wines that are produced in this region include Haskovo, Jambol, etc.

South western region of Bulgaria is popular for red wine. The wines that are produced in this region are Damianitza, Melnik, etc. Keratzuda is the local wine of this region.
