Brunei Information Technology Council (BIT Council) is the pioneer council for delivering the maximum solution to the Brunei-Science and Technology. The information technology council of Brunei focuses on various aspects of the technological development of the nation and accordingly makes plan for the effective development in these areas.
The Brunei Information Technology Council through its relevant agencies gives innovative IT strategies for the use of IT sector of the country. The society also coordinates and studies the various IT needs of the public sector as well as guide the private sectors. The constant effort of the society goes in rendering IT literary to all the members of Brunei society. To train the people in IT, manpower is the first criteria and the council ensures the continued supply of IT personnel in the country.
IT Applications, IT Links, IT R &D, IT Economy, IT Business and IT Relevance are all taken care by the Brunei Information Technology Council. The council always keeps itself updating in respect to the international platform. With the co-ordination of relative agencies, the council formulates effective policies and establishes the framework for the strategic development and use of IT in the entire nation of Brunei Darussalam.
