In 1951, the Hasting Corporation bought the site and consolidated its position as one of the chief sites of tourist attraction.

From Easter to September, it remains open from 10:00 hours to 17:00 hours everyday, while Hastings Castle in Britain can be accessed from 11:00 hours to 15:00 hours from October to Easter. There is also a minimal admission fee that is charged for entry to the grand castle. While for adults the admission fee is £3.00, children can enter the castle by paying £2.10.
