Brazil Immigration

Brazil immigration is a renowned factor playing in the Western Hemisphere of the World Political Map. In terms of the number of immigrants, Brazil stands as the second next to the United States of America. But to control the growing number of immigrants, the National Immigration Council of Brazil has issued few regulations on the issuance of visas. The Article 16 of the Brazil Laws though still keep provisions open for Brazil immigration. According to the section of Article 16, a foreigner is entitled for a permanent visa. But there are certain objectives set behind the issuance of permanent visas to the foreigners.

A person with a permanent visa would allow the foreigner to stay indefinitely in Brazil. But there are certain reasons for allowing such Brazil immigration. The Brazil Government has decided to issue permanent visas only to those foreigners, who would invest for the industrialization of Brazil. The foreigner may not solely be a businessperson, but should provide specialized work force to the varied sections of Brazilian economy. The person aiming for the Brazil immigration should contribute in the increase of productivity. The person who can assimilate the latest technology and contribute to the growth of Brazil in technology can be allowed for Brazil immigration as well.

The National Immigration Council though allows permanent visa, few clauses are thrust upon the foreigners looking for Brazil immigration. The foreigner should prove before the National Immigration Council his/her noble intention to serve for the betterment of Brazilian economy. But to check the Brazil immigration, the permanent visas are not issued for more than 5 years at a stretch. After the passing of 5 years, the foreigner is evaluated based on his/her contribution to the Brazilian economy. And if his/her performance is satisfactory, the visa validity period would be extended.
