The yellow-green color combination of ancient Brazilian Flag recalls the fierce battles fought in that period as well as the glorious triumphs earned through active participation of the armed and naval forces. At present times, these colors are indicative of the fact that the autonomous Brazilian government symbolizes eternity and integrity. The stars according to Brazil Flag History, are arranged as per their individual astronomical positions.
The Brazil Flag History in 1960 June experienced substantial changes with the inclusion of one more star in the existing constellation. This new star found its location under the letters on Brazilian Flag, between M and E on the white strip. Some consider this 22nd star to be Alpha Hydrae.
Unlike the stars found on the national flag of America, all individual stars on the Brazilian flag symbolize specific states in Brazil. In fact, Brazil Flag History is mostly about the incorporation of stars, for representing the individual states existing on Brazilian mainland.
