Botswana Visa

Thousands of tourists all over the world visit Botswana attracted by the vast stretches of sands of Kalahari Desert and the wild life reserves of Botswana.
To reach Botswana from other countries one has to abide by certain entry regulations of Botswana. In order to reach Botswana all the foreign people should possess a passport valid for six months. This rule is however not applicable to people holding United Nations Convention travel documents. Botswana Visa is another requirement to enter Botswana.

Botswana Visa can be obtained from embassies and high commissions of Botswana. Botswana entry visas can also be obtained from British High Commission in those countries, where Botswana embassies are not in operation. A visitor is allowed to stay in Botswana for not more than 90 days. Tourists who are willing to stay in Botswana for more than 90 days have to seek permission from the Chief Immigration Officer in Botswana. Entry visas, which are obtained at the border posts are valid for 30-90 days. This can be extended from immigration offices at Botswana.

  • USA
