The higher education in the country of Botswana is on the rise. The
University of Botswana is the hub of higher education for the students of Botswana after the senior secondary education. The students, who receive either first or second class in the final examinations of the senior secondary courses become eligible to get admission at the
University of Botswana.
The university in Botswana is not under the control of the government. There is no intervention of the state in the University of Botswana. The issues like employment of staffs, salaries, promotion of staffs all are controlled by the autonomous body of the university.
There is also the Botswana College of Agriculture. This college was established on May 31st in the year 1991. The associate institution of the University of Botswana is the Botswana College of Agriculture.
