Orapa is a town, which is located in the country of Botswana in its east central regions. Orapa is basically significant for being the site of the
largest producers of diamonds in the world and hence is also considered as the diamond capital of the country. The latitude and longitude of Orapa in Botswana are 21º 16' 60 S and 25º 22' 0 E, respectively. The altitude at which Orapa of Botswana is placed measures three thousand one hundred and three feet, which is approximately equal to nine hundred and forty five meters above sea level.

The major tourist attractions at Orapa at Botswana include its world famous Diamond Mines and an animal conservation region known as the game park. It is only because of the Orapa Diamond Mines that the place has the strongest African currency and is one of the wealthiest states of the country.

Orapa is well accessible from the nearby cities of Mopipi in the western regions, Madista over the northern areas, Letlhakane, Lothlekane, Detoie and Mekomxana on the eastern frontiers and the cities of Sesaloa and Lohoklane in the southern regions. The nearest airport offering regular flight services is that of Sua Pan Airport. A gliding club is also placed at the airport.
