Bermuda Lady Boats , a fleet of three luxury liners, are now peculiar to the magical islands of Bermuda. However they have been around from 1928 giving uninterrupted service till 1952 being operated by Canadian National Steamships. Five of them sailing from eastern Canadian ports to Bermuda, the West Indies, British Honduras and British Guyana.
Initially named after the wives of British admirals with a connection to the West Indies, the Bermudian luxury vessels were affectionately known as the Bermuda Lady Boats and provided an efficient cargo service and romantic cruises for many years.
Today, Hamilton based, Tam-Marina company owned by Nigel Prescott , offers luxury cruises in three of the largest and most luxurious Bermuda Lady boats on this side of Atlantic. The three legendary boat ladies are Lady Tamara, Lady Charlotte, and Lady Erica.
Ranging from 60 ft. to 110 ft. they can accommodate 40 to 250 persons. All of the Bermuda Lady Boats, have complete bars on board operated by professional bartenders/ mates. All of the vessels also have full galleys so caterers can work and remain out of sight and any visible mess is minimum.
