Executive of Belize refers to the executive branch of the Belizean government. In Belize, the executive powers are exercised by the cabinet ministers led by Belizean Prime Minister. The governor general represents Queen Elizabeth II, as the head of the state and it acts according to the advice of the cabinet and the Prime minister.
The leader of the majority party becomes the Prime Minister, who is the head of the government. While the cabinet ministers are the members of the majority party in the Parliament or National Assembly. These members hold important position in the cabinet.
Belize was a colony of the Englishmen and after gaining independence in 1981, it adopted the Westminster model. In Belize, parliamentary democracy and the constitutional monarchy exists side by side in the country.

Executive of Belize plays an important role in the governmental system of the country.
