The Belarus motorways make it convenient for the tourists to reach Belarus by road. At present the motorists avail the Russian route M1 to reach the country. This 440 kilometers stretch of Russian route
M1 is also called by the name of the Belarus Highway. This specific route starts from Moscow and terminates in Belarus. In between, it covers Smolensk. This unique route of Belarus motorways continues to Brest and Minsk in Belarus. The Russian route M1 is a continuation of the European route E30.

The economy of Belarus is highly dependent on these particular motorways of Belarus. The trucks travel this route on a large scale. Thus these motorways in Belarus help largely in the export and import trade of Belarus. The tourists avail this route in large numbers as well. Thus, the tourism of Belarus owes a lot to the Russian route M1. There are a number of check posts on this route. The security personnel are posted at these checkpoints. They check the incoming and outgoing cars and contribute in the security of the country.

The road condition of Belarus motorways is of high standard.
