Fabijan Abrantovic (1884 - 1946) was one of the most revered religious leaders in Belarus. Abrantovich struggled a lot to give recognition to Belarusian language in the Roman Catholic Church. He was the pioneer of giving a different shape to the character of Roman Catholicism, which was intrinsically Belarusian and not influenced by the Polish. He was one of the Roman Catholic priests who was the founder of the Christian movement in Belarus. His entire life was dedicated to bring a change for good in the minds of the people. He was arrested and exiled to Russia by the Soviet Army. It is believed that he succumbed to the injury inflicted upon him by the Soviet Army.
Symeon of Polotsk
Symeon of Polotsk (1629 - 1680) was an academically-trained Baroque Belarusian-Russian poet and churchman, who was responsible for bringing in enlightenment in the minds of the people. Jesuit theology was a major influence in his life. In the year of 1656 he became an Orthodox monk. His sermons were very popular in courts. He played a major influential role on the minds of the people.
