United Civil Party of Belarus



United Civil Party of Belarus is the name of a liberal conservative party in the country of Belarus. On October 1 in the year of 1995, this political party took its origin.
The two parties of similar values - Civil Party and United Democratic Party merged to give birth to this new party - United Civil Party of Belarus.

Traditionally, the United Civil Party of Belarus opposes the ruling of Alexander Lukasheno. The United Civil Party of Belarus usually participates in the elections, that are held in the country although it does not have any membership in the parliament of Belarus. The United Civil Party of Belarus claims that the lack of the seats is due to the unfair elections in the country.

Presently, the chairman of the United Civil Party of Belarus is Anatoly Lebedko with Alexander Dobrovolsky as the deputy chairman. Anatoly Lebedko is representing his party both on the domestic and on the international level.



The United Civil Party in Belarus joined the People's Coalition in the 2004 elections. However it could not acquire any seat. The main issues that were strictly challenged by the United Civil Party at Belarus, were the issues of constitutionally guaranteed rights of expression, association and assembly and the universal principles.
